Jen McNamara, R.N. and Donna A. Schmidt, R.N. have 50+ years of combined nursing experience. They both work in maternal-child health with a sub-specialty in neonatal intensive care.

As colleagues with similar professional backgrounds, who share a common faith base and belief system, the idea to form a community for like-minded people evolved from a simple conversation out of a place of sincere frustration. That day, NYAMM was created.

In just over weeks, our Facebook and email subscriber community has grown to over 20 thousand  freedom-loving members, and we are just getting started! It has become a place of comfort and support to those of us facing the difficult decisions ahead: to accept a vaccine mandate that goes against our personal beleifs, or to object and not comply - honoring ourselves but losing our career, calling, and livelihood in the process. This group shares ideas, information, stories, news, data and personal experiences. It has become a living, breathing community with one common goal- repeal this mandate to maintain bodily autonomy and personal freedom. We would love for you to join us - vaccinated or unvaccinated.

This is the fight of our lifetime. Let us unite to protect the rights of all!
